Molybdenum Electrode
Our molybdenum electrodes are made of molybdenum powders which purity is 99.95% minimum. The powders are produced by the best reputed manufacturer in China and high quality raw material could prevent bubbles and pores formed in electrodes.
HEXON produces and supplies molybdenum electrode by forging combined with Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP). Sufficient impaction and deformation by both forging and HIP will ensure that our electrodes possess homogenous structure, high density and longer working life.
Features of our molybdenum electrodes
● High purity and density
● Low diametric tolerance
● Exceptional surface roughness and straightness
● Homogenous structure
● Free of pores, bubbles and other defects
● Competitive pricing
● Longer working lifetime
Molybdenum is a preferred material for glass melting because of its anti-oxidation at elevated temperature, outstanding corrosion resistance, excellent creep resistance, and high thermal and electrical conductivity. Due to those attractive advantages, molybdenum electrodes are massively used in rare earth and other melting industries as well.
